2024 Wrapped: A Year in Review

Hello everyone, and welcome! As we close out 2024, we’re thrilled to celebrate the remarkable moments that made this year so memorable. From unveiling a new branch of our brand and opening a fabulous new showroom, to expanding our international presence—and so much more—we’ve had a truly exciting journey. We’ve put together our “2024 Wrapped” report so you can explore every highlight in one place.

Before we dive into 2025, let’s take a moment to refresh, reset, and ready ourselves for a fabulous year ahead. We’re so grateful for your support—thank you for being part of our story, and here’s to a wonderful start to the New Year!

The Launch of Hill House Lifestyle

Having already launched our Elements trimmings and cushion collections in 2023, we were thrilled to take on the chance to expand our own collections, resulting in the launch of “Hill House Lifestyle”, a brand new arm of the business dedicated to providing high end luxury pieces and products to interior designers and interior lovers everywhere.

Perhaps the most ambitious launch of all, and forming the core of the collection was the Elegance collection, our exclusive new range of luxurious furniture. After many months, (years really!) of preparation and hard work, we were delighted to bring the collection to the market.

We also released our debut collection of outdoor trimmings and cushions, specifically designed to elevate exterior spaces and bring the luxury of indoor design to the outdoor spaces.

The Opening of the Hill House Lifestyle Showroom at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour

When the opportunity arose to secure a showroom space at the prestigious Design Centre Chelsea Harbour for the month of June, coinciding with the highly anticipated Wow!House 2024, we couldn’t resist embracing the chance to create something truly extraordinary. This temporary showroom quickly became a testament to the artistry and collaboration that define Hill House Interiors. Partnering with esteemed industry friends such as Bella Figura, Edelweiss Pianos, Phillip Jeffries, and London Art Wallpaper, we transformed the space into a stunning showcase of design excellence.

Originally planned as a pop-up for just one month, the showroom’s incredible reception led us to extend its run not once, not twice, but three times—remaining open to this day. The showroom has provided the perfect platform to present our Hill House Lifestyle collection in its entirety, including the elegant Elegance furniture range, the refined Timeless rug collection, and the sophisticated Elements cushion range.

Over the months, the showroom has evolved into a hub of creativity, connection, and celebration. We have hosted a variety of exclusive events, including collaborations with Lalique and Ralph Lauren Home that brought their signature styles into a harmonious dialogue with our collection. Additionally, we welcomed our design industry peers for showcase evenings, thought-provoking panel talks, and even a festive masterclass as part of Design Centre’s “Christmas Design Day” in December, supporting the charity Place2Be.

This remarkable venture has allowed us to bring the luxury and vision of Hill House Lifestyle to life in an inspiring new way. The showroom has become a destination for clients, collaborators, and design enthusiasts, offering a space where timeless elegance meets innovative craftsmanship, and our passion for exceptional design can truly shine.

Helen and Jenny Join the 2024 SBID Awards Judging Panel

Jenny and Helen were honoured to join the esteemed judging panel for the prestigious 2024 SBID Awards. Widely recognised as a benchmark of excellence within the interior design industry, the SBID Awards celebrate the innovation, creativity, and craftsmanship that shape the future of design on a global scale.

Being invited to contribute to such a revered event was an incredible privilege. The experience of reviewing a diverse range of extraordinary projects was both inspiring and humbling, offering a glimpse into the exceptional talent and dedication that define our industry.

The SBID Awards not only highlight the finest in design but also create an opportunity to shine a light on the designers and projects driving positive change in the spaces we live and work in. To be part of this process was a true pleasure and a testament to the values we hold dear at Hill House Interiors.

Celebrating Excellence: Award Winning Designs of 2024

2024 has been a truly exciting year at Hill House Interiors, with our talented team currently working on over 70 incredible projects. Their dedication, creativity, and passion continue to push boundaries, earning recognition and accolades across the industry.

We are thrilled to share that our St George’s Hill Residence received the prestigious title of Best Interior Design of a Private Residence UK at the International Property Awards. This exceptional project also earned recognition at the International Design and Architecture Awards, securing the Interior Design Scheme UK award and highlighting its timeless elegance and thoughtful design.

In addition, four of our projects have been featured in the renowned Andrew Martin Interior Design Review Vol. 28. Highlights include our striking Miami-inspired bar and a beautiful family residence in Berkshire, showcasing the diversity and excellence of our work.

Strengthening Our Presence: Expansion of the Middle East Design Team

This year, we’ve focused on growing our talented team in the Middle East to meet the increasing demand for high-end interior design in the region. With new team members bringing fresh ideas and expertise, we’re better equipped than ever to deliver exceptional projects and strengthen our presence in this dynamic market.

Dubai Boat Show 2024: A Celebration of Style on the Water

For the second year running, we were thrilled to participate in the prestigious Dubai Boat Show, a standout event in the Middle East’s luxury calendar. This year’s show provided us with the perfect platform to connect with an array of inspiring clients and design enthusiasts, showcasing the artistry and craftsmanship behind Hill House Interiors.

Our stand featured a selection of exquisite pieces from our furniture and rug collections, which were met with exceptional feedback from visitors. The highlight of the event, however, was the opportunity to dress Sunseeker’s stunning 88 Yacht for its inaugural UAE launch. Collaborating with this iconic brand allowed us to bring a touch of Hill House elegance to the world of luxury yachting—an experience we truly relished.

As we look ahead to the 2025 Dubai Boat Show, we’re already brimming with excitement. With plans for an even more spectacular stand and new surprises in store, we can’t wait to share the next chapter of Hill House Interiors on the water. Stay tuned—it’s going to be something truly special!

Project Spotlight: Designing Sunseeker Gulf’s New Showroom at Marsa Al Arab Marina

Following our successful collaboration with the newly launched Sunseeker Gulf at the Dubai Boat Show, we were thrilled to extend our partnership to an exciting new venture. Sunseeker entrusted us with the design of their stunning new office and showroom, located at the exclusive Marsa Al Arab Marina in Dubai.

This project encompassed both interior and architectural design, blending functionality with the sophistication synonymous with the Sunseeker brand. We crafted a space that reflects the dynamic energy of Dubai’s luxury marine culture while maintaining a seamless connection to Sunseeker’s heritage. From bespoke furniture and meticulous detailing to the strategic layout of the space, every element was designed to create an environment that is as inspiring as the yachts themselves.

Collaborating on such a prestigious project has been a privilege, and we’re incredibly proud to see our designs come to life in this exceptional location.

Leading the Conversation: How Our Directors Are Shaping the Future of Interior Design

Hosted at our Chelsea showroom in September, Helen was joined by Bee Osborne, the visionary founder behind Cotswold-based design studio Osborn Interiors and Kate Watson-Smyth—author, journalist, podcaster, interiors consultant, and the creative force behind the award-winning blog Mad About The House for an exclusive conversation on pioneering paths to business growth and diversification. Drawing from their extensive experience leading the creative interiors industry, Helen, Bee and Kate delved into the strategies that have fuelled their success, sharing candid insights and inspiring personal stories. Moderated by content director Suzanne Imre, the former editor of Livingetc, the panel talk offered more than 100 designers and creatives an unparalleled opportunity to gain wisdom from the trailblazers shaping the future of interior design. The conversation was a truthful insight into the experiences each have had, the highs and lows of exploring new directions. You can watch the full playback here.

As Part of DCCH’s London Design Week 2024 – Helen and Jenny were invited to take part in a Conversations in Design talk about Building Your Dream business as a part of a partnership. Joined by Russell & Jordan, founders of 2LG Studio as well as Richand Angel, CEO of Angel O-Donnell, the conversation covered all aspects of creating a successful business, transforming an idea into reality and what does it take to set up a business of your own as a pair.
