As we’ve mentioned a few times, texture played such an important role in The Beach House, right down to what was underfoot.

The beautiful sisal weave from Tim Page Carpets gave us exactly the natural texture we were looking for, bringing warmth and another subtle layer of pattern into the scheme.

We love the way the herringbone adds interest without competing with everything else happening in the room. It grounds the space and, quite honestly, became a real pièce de résistance.

We’re so grateful to @timpagecarpets for collaborating with us and allowing us to showcase it.

Every surface played its part in creating The Beach House, including the ceiling.

We chose Tektura’s wood-effect vinyl for the ceiling panels, adding another layer of natural texture and warmth to the scheme while maintaining the clean, considered finish we wanted throughout.

A huge thank you to @tekturatalk for collaborating with us and helping us bring this part of the design to life.

One of the finishing touches that really helped bring The Beach House together was the floristry.

We’ve always believed that bringing elements of nature into a space makes it feel warmer, softer and more inviting. It’s why floristry is something we value in every project.

A huge thank you to @rtfactflowers, who very kindly provided some of the most wonderful artificial arrangements for the stand. They added exactly the organic texture and natural feel we were looking for, helping to reinforce the relaxed coastal atmosphere throughout.
It sounds subtle, but details like these make all the difference.

While the Beach House experience is centred around intelligent lighting, we never wanted the decorative lighting to feel like an afterthought. For us, the best spaces strike a balance between being clever and being beautiful.

The wall lights and pendants work seamlessly with the wider lighting scheme, adding warmth, character and atmosphere while still integrating perfectly with the technology behind the scenes.

A huge thank you to Valley & Laurel for kindly providing the Palecek wall lights and pendants. They brought exactly the relaxed coastal feel we were looking for above the bar and throughout the space.
It sounds subtle, but lighting has an enormous impact on how a room feels… and when every layer works together, that’s when the magic really happens ✨

It wouldn’t really be a Hill House project without a bar 🤫

As the heart of so many great conversations, we always think a bar should feel every bit as considered as the rest of the space.

For The Beach House, we paired the beautifully textured Porcelanosa bar frontage with our Georgia bar stools, upholstered in two contrasting fabrics. A textured Larsen on the back and a Romo Black Edition fabric on the inside create a pairing that feels completely natural.

We were also thrilled to collaborate with MHB once again on the bar itself. Their craftsmanship is phenomenal, and it’s always a pleasure to see an idea brought to life with such care and attention to detail.
It’s one of our favourite spots in the space.
