MID-WEIGHT INTERIOR DESIGNER – FF&E
Role Overview
- Job Title: Mid-Weight Interior Designer – FF&E
- Work Pattern: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm or 9:30am – 6:00pm
- Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Our ideal candidate would meet the following requirements
- Must be a UK resident or have a valid UK working visa
- Have a full, clean driving licence for site visits – this is a must
- Must be able to work in the Design Studio full time
- Fluent in (spoken and written) English
- A recognised Interior Design/ Interior Architecture qualification
- Multiple years’ working experience in an Interior Design or architectural practice, preferable on medium to large sized projects in the Luxury Residential market, ideally in an FF&E background
- Strong understanding of the full design process
- Self-motivated with the initiative to work both independently and as part of a team – can hit the ground running and able to work efficiently in an organised manner
- Self-confident and receptive to constructive feedback
- Ability to manage time and work flow of multiple projects efficiently
- Experience and confidence in running and delivering projects from initial design concept, tender process, through to construction, installation and completion of the project and handover.
- On-site and project management experience including full delivery of projects from concept through to completion
- Possess a proactive approach to leading design work within the studio and communication with clients and contractors in a highly professional manner throughout the design processes
- Experience with client-facing including leading design presentations, meetings and correspondence throughout the design processes.
- Inspire creativity in the design studio including developing relationships with new suppliers and creative materials and finishes
- Sourcing and procurement of FF&E
The following skills are required:
- Technical drawing Skills
- A very good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Sketch Up, with experience of EstiPC an advantage
- Computer literate: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop
- Excellent time management skills – personal and team members
- Experience of running large-scale projects in the high end residential sector
- Ability to work in a high pressured environment and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written, verbal and visual. The job will involve dealing with clients or suppliers, either on a personal basis or over the telephone. The ability to visualise concepts and communicate them to others is also important.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, on multiple projects
- Ability to instruct and mentor others within the design studio
- Meticulous attention to detail
- A great eye for design and colour, with good 3D and spatial awareness
- Ability to create and develop conceptual designs that would seamlessly integrate with our portfolio including the skill of using colour and texture with great attention to detail
- Excellent design and space planning skills
- Exceptional conceptual and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate thoughts and ideas through the use of handsketching
- Strong knowledge of FF&E suppliers (e.g. furniture, fabric and wallpapers, lighting, flooring, bathroom sanitaryware and suppliers etc)
The main duties will include:
- To work as part of a team on both UK and international projects from concept through to completion
- Producing accurate schedules, for curtain and furniture manufacturers for example
- Sourcing and specifying products and materials whilst being mindful of a set budget
- Producing comprehensive and professional looking mood boards for presentations to clients
- Responsibility for multiple projects from concept development through to installation and styling
- Preparation of detailed and accurate drawings, designs, plans and schemes
- Working in a team with other designers
- Keeping up to date with new developments and design trends in the design industry
- Sourcing, scheduling, and specifying furniture, fittings & materials of the highest quality
- Managing projects independently
- Liaise with clients and manage on site installation

PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR
Role Overview
- Job Title: Procurement Coordinator
- Work Pattern: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm or 9:30am – 6:00pm
- Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Key Requirements
Working Requirements
- Full, clean driving licence required for site visits (essential)
- Full-time, in-studio role (not remote)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to communicate effectively between UK and Middle East offices
Qualifications/ Experience:
- A background or qualification in procurement, business administration or supply chain management is a plus.
- Familiarity with specific procurement tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel, EstiPC)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement, ideally within luxury interior design or high-end residential projects.
- Experience managing FF&E sourcing, negotiations, and procurement logistics for projects.
Knowledge & Technical Skills:
- Strong negotiation skills and experience securing favourable terms and pricing with suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work closely with various team members
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to procurement challenges.
- Proactive with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Procurement and Sourcing:
- Set up and manage Trade accounts
- Collaborate closely with the designers to understand the specific project requirements
- Sourcing specified furniture, fittings and equipment from high end suppliers and manufacturers
- Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing suppliers, and actively seek out new suppliers
- Cost Management and Negotiation
- Work in close partnership with the design team to evaluate FF&E quotes, assess costs, and negotiate the best pricing while preserving the quality of materials and design integrity.
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing through careful analysis of quotes, while maintaining high standards of luxury and craftsmanship.
- Review and approve supplier invoices to ensure they match procurement agreements and project budgets.
- Order Management and Coordination
- Oversee the ordering process for all FF&E, ensuring accurate specifications and timely order placement.
- Coordinate with suppliers to track orders, resolve issues, and expedite delivery to meet project deadlines.
- Manage logistics for delivery, inspection, storage, and installation of products, ensuring the entire process runs smoothly.
- Conduct quality control checks upon product delivery to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records for contractors liability insurance, product warranties, returns, and any supplier-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement-related activities, including orders, quotes, deliveries, and communications with suppliers.
- Assist with creating and managing procurement reports, helping designers and project managers track budgets and deadlines.
- Creating fabric schedules to send to suppliers
